Endear is preparing to launch an update to our reporting to deliver you more insights on how your team is doing. Learn how to navigate your new report.
Your 'Messages sent over time' report will soon include a dollar value associated with the messages your team has sent, along with the number of conversions those messages have generated.
We will also be changing the requirements around which messages will count as having driven a sale.
By default, sales will be attributed based on the following rules:
- A purchase that happens within 5 days of an email being sent (regardless of whether the email received an open, click or reply) will count as a sale
- If the purchase happens between 6 - 30 days of the email being sent, it will only count if the email received an open, click or reply
- A purchase that happens within 7 days of an sms being sent (regardless of whether the sms received a click or reply) will count as a sale
- If the purchase happens between 8 - 30 days of the sms being sent, it will only count if the sms received a click or reply
All sms messages will be considered “open” since it is not possible to measure whether an sms message was opened, but most analysis suggests that close to 100% of sms messages are opened.
Customers on our Professional or Enterprise plan can adjust the default values for the attribution rules. Each sale will have an “attributable amount” which is equal to the subtotal (excluding taxes, shipping, and discounts) of the order. The attributable amount will be split across all users that sent a valid message within the attribution windows listed above.
